6:15 am.  I'm waking up... We decided we'd have the shop closed today (Friday, July 3) for the 4th holiday, and I get a chance to sleep a bit later.. but I'm up.

I wake up, start coffee and what do I do?  Start taking our laptop that sits here at home for us to use apart!!! What in the world am I thinking! I'm supposed to be taking a day off! Not to mention we'll be traveling to visit Nicole's family over the weekend today.

Well, the keyboard on this laptop has keys that stick.  You literally had to put your thumb on a couple of them and press down HARD to get them to register.  Keys like the period (how do you type a URL without the period?), the quotes key (man that one was hard with the pinky), the comma, and others... 

We got a new keyboard in for it a while back and I just hadn't had time to install it... so here I am this morning at 6:30 am, even before having a cup of coffee, disassembling a laptop on the kitchen table.

Well, you'll be happy to know I'm through my first cup of coffee, and I'm happily typing away on our new keyboard... ahhhhh much better.
